----- Clear Silence-----
I hate the world I live in
A world where there is no sound
Whether it be because I like the silence
Or because I am to afraid to hear my own voice aloud
For if there were sound I would surely fear the echo it created
And the way it would ripple across my world
Building bridges and burning them down
I am still, I refuse to make a sound
I sit in silence waiting and
Thinking of what to say
Trying to make a noise, no
Attempting to forge a weapon
To keep the never ending silence at bay
For it will forever consume my world unless I can speak or
Until I say something for to vanquish the silence at its peak
I know I can break the silence with a single sound
Yet every time my courage fails me
And I do not say anything aloud
Then I hear an echo
A trumpet calls,
A hero in the fight
Combating the silence,
The answer to my plight
With the trumpet I gain a voice
Learning to speak through my melodies
To tear apart my enemies, so the silence is no more
The blaring silence is defeated as the trumpet herald calls
I have won the battle and with silence I have settled the score
